FOREST VIEW NEWSLETTER AUGUST 2010.
The project is due to start in September following the completion of our planning and the impending building license. The main change to the current project is the introduction of four three bedroom bungalows next to the swimming pool.
The web site will be updated in the next 7-10 days with photographs of all the units being built. The project will now have 22 linked bungalows, 8 two bedroom bungalows and 4 three bedroom bungalows with the club house remaining the same as per our perspectives on the current web site.
There are 4 three bedroom bungalows, 5 linked bungalows and 6 two bedroom bungalows for sale only. The price list is available on application.
We will prepare furniture packages and have them posted on the web site before the end of August for those who wish to have the property furnished as well.
FOREST VIEW NEWSLETTER JULY 2010.
The last few months have been testing for all in Thailand with the political turmoil and the fall out of the events for tourism and property. In addition the strong Baht has been against the Euro and Sterling and the appetite for purchasing property in Pattaya has been reduced to very low levels.
This has affected our ability to progress Forest View’s construction in the way we wished. However, the application for the entire developments building permit is now in progress with both the electricity and water from the government departments is also in progress.
The project will be further delayed but the company is in the process of discussing funding from its bankers. The economy of Thailand is in good shape and there is a good liquidity in the banking system with high expectations of property growth with demand coming from Thai purchasers rather than the traditional purchasers in Pattaya so not all is bad news.
The pricing structure we have at Forest View and also the location will be attractive to Thai purchasers and we have had enquiries already from our Bangkok agent colleagues.
I anticipate construction starting within the next two months.
